New and updated brochures

Smith Brothers have recently released two new brochures, one focusing on the various pipe systems exclusively available from SBS and the other an updated version of our popular air conditioning and ancillary engineers guide.

Physical copies of both brochures have been printed on Carbon Neutral paper with Forest Stewardship Council™ accreditation, ensuring they remain environmentally friendly as possible.

Smith Brothers Exclusive MLCP & Press-Fit Systems

This new literature showcases SBS’s exclusive MLCP and press-fit systems, focusing on their applications, available sizes, technical information, approvals, links to product demo’s with detailed case studies.

Multi-layered Composite Pipe

Aquatechnik’s MLCP Safety-Pol system is installed by utilising a flaring tool which expands the bore of the pipe, allowing it to easily accept the fitting which is then twisted and locked into place. This unique jointing method allows for higher flow rates and lower pressure drops when compared to other MLCP systems as demonstrated in the videos linked below. This secure system is also demountable so the fittings can be reused.

Stainless Steel Press-Fit

Our stainless system by Isotubi is available in XL sizes up to Dn150 (6”) alleviating the need to weld down to 4”. The system, including the XL sizes, is WRAS and Gas approved and is manufactured in ISO 9001 conditions to meet EN 10312 & EN 10.217-7 standards.

Copper and Carbon Press-Fit

Frabo’s WRAS approved press-fittings have been developed to provide a safe and long-lasting system that is resistant to pulling forces and torsional stresses. Both their copper and carbon fittings up to 54mm benefit from Frabo’s patented leakproof detection system. An XL range is also available up to 108mm.
