I honestly can’t tell you how important it was to complete the section and works for our Client to commence manufacture in their new facility. While these materials were not huge in quantity, they were of critical importance.

So, from me personally, I would like to say the biggest thank you for the efforts in supplying the gear, especially to Michael for taking materials home for us to collect. It really does go above and beyond what we could expect.

It is yet another example of how the excellent service we get can sometimes just be looked at as the norm.

I ordered some products from Smith Brothers this week and I just wanted to express how impressed I was with the service I received from the A/C internal sales person at the Heathrow branch. His customer service skills are outstanding and he was more than helpful. He was efficient and friendly, making it to be a totally pleasurable experience. I wish more companies were this efficient.

Just wanted to drop you a line in reference to the team at Cardiff branch, as they pulled out all the stops to help us reinstate a hotel site in Cornwall for a client, which had to have their gas reinstate after an emergency gas meter change. Needless to say, it had to be on a bank holiday weekend with a hotel fully booked, and to make it worse, fully booked with a wedding party. The assistant branch manager was fantastic in the way he opened up the branch on Friday evening at 8pm to supply us with the parts we needed to help reinstate the gas at this site early the next day. I just thought you should be aware of a great effort on the employee’s part, in not causing any drama or hesitation in helping us out!! I wish all my suppliers were as forth coming. In general your Cardiff branch are a fantastic supplier and pleasure to deal with. I did offer them wine and beer which they declined, so the least I can do is offer you this review for your records. Thank you again.

I called into the Northampton branch with just a pattern of a flange I needed. I didn’t know exactly what I actually needed, only fittings to fit my pattern. Although I have no account with Smith Brothers Stores, and clearly the components were of no significant value to them, the assistance I received was second to none. The staff member on the trade counter was extremely helpful in providing a selection of fittings to fit my requirements, nothing was too much trouble. In my role at National Grid I recognise when a company’s ethos goes beyond the norm and Smith Brothers do just that. I wish I had dealt with similar companies in my working role.

I wanted to tell you how impressed I’ve been with the office recently, they are coming back with prices super quick and beating your competitor’s prices the majority of the time. The service from your team has been second to none. There has been the odd occasion when the wrong part was sent, and the office have jumped on it and got the right stuff to me the next day, even when I’ve told them not to panic as its only for stock…..it still arrives next day. Your delivery drivers are so sweet and friendly, which makes a lovely change.

The staff are an asset to you, I used to deal with one of your employees at a previous company and he was always very efficient and still is. Credit where credits due!!! People normally moan when something goes wrong and very rarely praise you when things are going well!!!!

Just a quick message to mention what a great delivery driver you have at SBS Peterborough, he is always chirpy, polite and helpful… People are quick to complain, but not to compliment – Everyone should have staff like him!!!

I thought I would send an email to say thanks for the great service you have all provided over the summer, especially the last couple of months to Atherton’s, we certainly will be using you more often in the future.

Smith brothers have become a valued part of our business and a key player within our supply chain. The service provided by all the staff has been outstanding; including their training and industry knowledge, this has enabled us to become more productive. With a large fleet of vehicles we have had materials delivered to a large variety of projects from a small farm house projects to large Commercial buildings throughout Wales. The stock levels of materials in branch helps us with many day to day maintenance issues which that has become invaluable to our key clients. Smith Brothers have supported our small business over the past years, and as we grow together, SBS will always be our first choice supplier.

Albion have worked closely with SBS for many years, over this period both Albion and SBS have expanded substantially, increasing our product ranges, number of employees, and for SBS, the number of branches! This weekend it sure paid off, as I want to say a HUGE thank you to Smith Brothers Stores Merseyside. I am especially grateful to the sales supervisor who went above and beyond on Saturday morning! Like wonder woman, she came to the rescue by helping our operatives, Tommy & Brad, who needed fittings to get the heat back on at a school we were working on as soon as possible, and she delivered.

That is something you can’t buy!

I would like to extend my gratitude to your company and in particular the staff at your Cambridge branch in Swavesey. Waldo Fritz demonstrated exceptional customer service in order to fulfil my last minute request. The tools I requested were not in stock at the Cambridge branch, but Waldo arranged for them to be delivered the next day from a different branch and kept me informed via email and text message when they were available to collect. When I arrived at the branch to collect the tools, he offered me a complimentary coffee and left me with a goodie bag with some Smith Brothers merchandise. Please pass on our thanks to Waldo and his colleagues for this excellent service, he was very passionate about his job and the Smith Brothers brand and was a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks very much for opening the store during an emergency yesterday, it was very much appreciated. Without your help, the Hospital would have had no water this morning!

Most of the time, I require items the next day AM and SBS always deliver. With a wide range of products and high volume of stock, I always get the goods! Working with the Engineer to forward plan quantities of plant, tube and fittings, Smith Brothers always gives an idea of what stock we require on the projects. They are more than happy to get stock in knowing they can get it out the door the next day, if not the same day! I mainly deal with SBS Leicester who offer excellent customer service and always go that extra mile to ensure they meet our high demands. Prices are always on point. However, this isn’t the main reason I use SBS – service is!
