At Smith Brothers Stores, we pride ourselves on our service which has been developed throughout the years whilst continually adhering to our ethos of staff, stock and service. An ethos that is abided to by all SBS staff members as we continue to grow our business, as well as striving to provide our customers with an unrivalled service.

We are extremely proud and fortunate to have celebrated our 125th year trading anniversary in 2022 – a significant milestone, but it is imperative that we do not rest on our laurels and continue to improve our service wherever possible. Particularly as we enter what could potentially be another challenging year for the industry with further price increases and material shortages still pertinant.

We have introduced an online survey for that exact reason, giving customers another method of communication by leaving feedback regarding their recent purchases, even outside of business hours. The feedback received will be subject to regular internal reviews and will help us to adapt and manage our service further to our customers individual needs and requirements.

ISO 9001

The introduction of this online survey also brings us one step closer to achieving ISO 9001 accreditation in Quality Management systems.

As part of the continuing success and growth plans of the business, Smith Brothers have partnered with BSI to acquire and retain ISO 9001 status. ISO 9001 is the international Standard for Quality Management, meaning that specific processes within the business will be tweaked and aligned to meet the required standards.

We have implemented a dedicated taskforce who will continually monitor and manage the quality across our business and identify areas of improvement. They will also conduct a thorough inspection of the company’s written internal procedures, ensuring that what is stated in our practices are followed and aligns with the accreditation’s standards.
