Brief

A bespoke, high-end Cat B mechanical and electrical installation. On levels 6 to 9 at Gazprom’s Triton Street, London offices.

Who is Gazprom?

Gazprom is the world’s largest gas producer, that explores and develops natural gas fields and extracts, processes, transports, stores, and refines natural gas.

The Building

Located in the borough of Camden, Gazprom’s 89,000ft² building is designed to provide space with intelligent flexibility without compromising business efficiency or quality of finish. A combination of folding furniture, folding walls and glass Skywall was fitted to provide a genuinely multi-functional space with a unique solution.

The building also includes the Diorama Theatre and a café-bar which showcases the diversity of the Camden area. The building was designed to fit in with the surrounding areas, including the Holy Trinity Church.

Work Completed

The installation of small power specialist lighting, lighting control system, fire voice alarm, vesda and gas suppression system. The Cat B fit-out included modifications to the FCU system, new Comms room, SER room and dedicated CHW system to the trader’s area.

The mechanical and electrical installation was completed on time and within budget to the client’s high specifications.

About the area:

  • Camden is famous for its series of markets that include Camden Lock, Canal Market, the Stables, Buck Street Market, Electric Ballroom and Inverness Street Market.
  • The very first food stall, called “the stall,” was opened at Camden in 1974 by a former Olympic sprinter, June Foulds.
  • The concert hall called the roundhouse was previously a part of a railway system and was built in 1847 to house a turntable to turn trains around at the end of the line. The building was then converted into the famous roundhouse in the 1960s.
  • The Nearest tube stations to the building are Great Portland Street, Warren Street, Euston Square and Euston, showing that the area has excellent transport links.
