At UK Construction Week, there are over 650+ exhibitors and over 35,0000 people construction professionals planning to attend the exhibition. It is free to attend and consists of nine different shows, that include: Timber Expo, Build Show, Civils Expo, Plant & Machinery Live, Energy 2018, Building Tech Live, Surface & Materials Show, HVAC 2018 and Grand Designs Live just on the 10th and 11th October. This means there is loads of opportunities to learn more about the industry from a wide range of sectors.

SBS is one of the largest and oldest independent merchants operating from the UK directly focusing on supplying products to the HVAC market within the commercial and industrial mechanical services sector. Operating from England and Wales, SBS now forms a 14-depot network which includes a head office in Blaby, Leicester. The core business prides itself on three key attributes; stock, staff and service. Smith Brothers specialise in the distribution of pipework, valves, air conditioning along with all associated fittings and ancillaries while continuing to increase both its product portfolio and geographical coverage.

As Smith Brothers are a part of the HVAC Market, it will be interesting to see the HVAC 2018 exhibit part of the show. This happens to be sponsored by one of our major suppliers, Daikin. The brand offers an extensive range of advanced air conditioning equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications all available to be purchased through SBS.

In the HVAC show there are top speakers and industry experts including a staff member from Daikin, talking about sustainability. The topics that will be covered are: high-end residential solutions, humidity and its impact on human comfort and wellbeing in occupied buildings and the distribution of heating and ventilation products – and how it is changing.

Exhibitors Advanced Engineering, Daikin and Victaulic have stands within the HVAC section and if you have any enquiries for grooved pipe systems, air conditioning and ancillary products, then please contact your local SBS branch today.
